‘Brave’ teaser trailer: Pixar goes for girl power in 2012
Pixar’s newest movie, “Cars 2,” has been in theaters for all of four days, but we’re kind of looking forward to the company’s next film a year from now.
It’s called “Brave,” and in a first for the company, it will feature a female lead character. The teaser trailer for the film is up above.
The movie is set in the Scottish Highlands, where Merida (voiced by Kelly Macdonald), an archer and the daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson), stirs up trouble when she defies an old tradition and then has to put things right. The movie also features the voices of Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson, Julie Walters and Robbie Coltrane.
“Brave” is scheduled to open June 22, 2012. What do you think of the teaser?
