Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony to Divorce

In a joint statement to People magazine, musical power-couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have announced that they are filing for divorce.

“We have decided to end our marriage,” the statement reads.

“This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”

“It is a painful time for all involved,” they add, “and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

Lopez and Anthony married in June 2004. Together they have 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
